Just got 4 tickets on pre release for Jason isbell at the Albert Hall in Manchester in November. One of the best gigs I was ever at last time out. Stunning venue. Highly highly recommended.
Tickets go on open sale at 10am tomorrow.
The Albert Hall in Manchester is one of the nicest venues I’ve been in. A former Methodist church isn’t it? I saw the War on Drugs there.
That’s the place. It’s really lovely. Walk up a manky oul set of stairs and wow.
Saw that alright but can’t make it up. Really looking forward to the Belfast gig on Monday
I’m down here but circumstances prevent me from going. Saw him put on a great show in the BGE a few years ago
Would people ever presume that you’re from the gardai when they see you at a gig?
Maybe the RIC
I’m really too cool to be mistaken for a guard
Fact
Are you @SmileyBulger?
Supergrass, Belfast
Tickets got for Sunday of lollapalooza Berlin to see rage against the machine. Wanted the Krakow or Prague gig but they were sold out so I suppose Berlin will have to do.
I would say seeing a band in Krakow would be amazing. @balbec
One of the best places I have been - actually Berlin is pretty deadly as well.
Yeah that was my first choice by far but tickets were gone. No idea what Lollapalooza will be like, but I will see RATM and Run the Jewels for the same price as a gig on any of the rest of the tour so that’s more than enough even if the rest of the line up for the day is shite. Never been to Poland so wanted to get to krakow but Berlin is probably the best party city in the world and will more than make up for it.
Would be a great weekend to visit.
I still think of those underground bars in the Old Town cut out of stone. And the Polish beer. Cracking spot.
Going to see James Murphy do a DJ set in District 8
