I’m really looking forward to seeing Declan O’Rourke in March though I’ve a fair few gigs lined up between now and then, his new album is powerful

How short? Up to around 75 minutes is perfect for me unless you’ve a serious back catalogue. 90 minutes grand as long as there are four albums at least in the cannon.

Some friends were supporting that crowd Villagers in Cork a good few years back. Villagers had two albums to their name at the time. They were about an hour in when I left because it was particularly boring. The lads said they played another hour after that. That’s ridiculous

Less than an hour. Too short for paying punters and I despise the cult of the three hour gig. Particularly the 3 hour Bruce Springsteen gig.
