Thanks very much fagan
My first ever gig was in the National Stadium - Something Happens in 1989. The shop across the road used to not be too strict on ID when buying cans.
It was March 1989 I saw BB King there. The flatmate, a butcher, had got nearly as far as the altar with a girl but she dumped him. He was getting back in the game and was bringing a new lady on a date to the Stadium but he paid for a ticket for me to tag along in case the conversation flagged a bit. She was a nice comfy kind of a girl but she wasnβt for him and he gave her the flick shortly after. He then met the love of his life, a widow woman whose husband had died on their honeymoon and they got married and have four lovely children.
Is this essentially Lydon and whatever session musicians he can get his hands on?
It is and for all of his faults Iβd like to see him live before either he or I shuffle off to his mortal coil.
The Cure in the Three Arena next September. Tickets on sale this Friday. If anyone has a presale code Iβd very happily make use of it.
One way around it I suppose.
Fair play to him. My young lad going to this. His first ever gig.
