Good to see Broad Majestic Shannon back in there.

Yep, count me in please.

Done, shall we arrange to meet Farmer at the gig or is it a bit soon after the TFK Xmas Party?

You could sit on his shoulders and get a birds eye view of the concert?
Saw him a couple of years ago in the Marquee. Didnā€™t get him to be honest, was a let down.

Kasabian playing the Marquee next summer, will go to that.
saw him in kikenny a few years ago.

the band carried him for the evening, has neither the voice nor the energy for a live show these days.

iā€™m afraid the man sold out years ago.

Some setlist from the Pogues, Fiesta last, smashing stuff, reckon Iā€™ll be well up for that.

Lullaby is back in there as well.

One of the best tunes ever written.

Appendage the cunt was talking about going as well. Not sure if I want to go now.

I think heā€™s much ā€œhealthierā€ these days. I couldnā€™t get over how lively he was at oxygen, really gave it socks. I wasnā€™t expecting much going in but he blew me away. There was a Canadian girl with us who had never heard of them before and she said it was the best gig of the whole weekend.

Treat for Pogues fans in the Fiver today

Read it there, didnā€™t notice anything?

At the very bottom.

the Sultans of Ping FC, Dec 21, Dublin. his brother knows Karl Marx.

Very quick reply as I am under a bit of pressure today.

The Wedding Present were very disappointing. Very disappointing. Gedge looked as if he didnā€™t give a shit. As a result when they stopped playing most people (not that there were many people there) just fucked off and there was no encore and that was it.

What was Andrews Lane like for a gig venue farmer?

He met him eating mushrooms in the Peoples Parkā€¦

Anyone know of any Coldplay tickets for sale? Probably not.

Amadou & Mariam are playing Vicar Street in March.

Saw them a couple of years ago and it was great.

Of Montreal are playing in January.

Anyone like either of those two or am I ploughing a lone furrow?

Ok Larry. Very similar to Whelans. Very small. You feel as if you are almost on stage with the band.

Sound isnā€™t great though but better than Whelans I would say.

Manus - they kicked off with Kennedy and it was looking good. Then Gedge lost interest.
