I saw Iggy and The Stooges at Primavera in 2006.
Would you not give it a go for the Sugababes?
Great pop song that I’ve heard twice in the past week on the radio. Overload a top tune too.
Billy Big Balls with his I was at Primavera when nobody else had heard of it
Whats the line up these days I wonder?
Back to the OG
OMFG Siobhan as well?!!!
I was there in 2005 as well when really nobody had heard of it. By 2007, it was full of Micks.
Pure filth those three looks. Outstanding.
All of the Stooges were pretty much gone by then?
Edit: i see Ron Asheton didn’t die until 2009
Are those the three originals?
One on the right has had serious work done.
I’d say its more airbrushing than work, but I wouldnt rule out extensive work also.
It was Iggy, the two Ashetons and Watt
It always struck me as very wrong that Ron Asheton played bass on the Raw Power album after being lead guitarist on the first two albums which were magnificent (Funhouse in particular). Bowie got involved with Williamson but Iggy’s fuckedness from drugs seemed to be the biggest issue.
Same when I saw them.
Saxon Olympia March.
Was it good??
I thought they were great. Can’t beat having good songs. Tight set list.
Having said that I probably enjoyed them more first time I saw them couple of years ago.
Grian has probably become a little too self aware / affected but then again he’s earned that for now.
