Aye. I don’t like outdoor gigs generally and I’d say this will be my first one since Nick Cave in 2018, but the fact I can get the train to Malahide, have a few pints in a plastic glass and hit home afterwards all were part of the sales pitch.

I played my trump card now by enlisting my mate’s help as I will be driving at 9am on Friday.
He’s a whizz around Ticketmaster, a seasoned pro who also has ticket contacts as a last resort. In fact I’ve never known him to miss a gig.
I have to be careful when I play this but I simply cannot miss this gig.

Not sure why the presale didn’t work for you. Worked for my friends, and one shared their code with another and it worked. Maybe the presale tickets were sold out for the date you were looking for. Best of luck anyway!
I was on my phone on the Luas. Waited on the countdown and all three days went straight to the spinning wheel thing and eventually just to general sale,
4g coverage maybe didn’t cut it with so much competition for a small pool.
Got three tickets for the Sunday after a while.
