I had asked her out earlier in the day, and she had agreed to go for a drink next week, but as events conspired we ended up meeting tonight for a drink in town. The Poles are wonderful people, with their heads screwed on, unlike their Lithuanian neighbours. Had a good long chat, and got the shift at the end.
