That stage looked painful. I’d imagine Quintana & Rolland will be getting dirty looks today. Attacking when there was confusion over the reports of stalling the racing in the bad conditions. It was cheeky at best.
No worse than bmc putting the hammer down after the crash. I know they were riding fairly hard beforehand, but they upped it afterward.
Not the first time that Rolland has done that.
Quintana and Rolland done nothing wrong the stage wasn’t neutralized on the decent. A red flag was used to warn riders of the first 1500m of the decent. At no time was a black flag used. Tough shit on Uran and Co.
Riis and Tinkov holding a meeting now looking for yesterday’s results to be scraped. Today’s stage in doubt as well.
