Step 2 of Aisling’s rehab

She looks like Gok Wan there.
Charlie Carter must be around 50
Get him togging out for NaP again
More shenanigans at Rehab.
should be the final nail in the (rehab oak) coffin
Didgraced former CEO of Console Paul Kelly has died in tragic circumstances.
His wife has asked for no flowers at the funeral. All donations to be handed over in person at the graveside.
Hello to all posters, I hope you are all safe.
Today should have been Daffodil Day but it has been cancelled due to the Covid 19 crisis. This is a cruel blow for the Irish Cancer Society, who provide many important services and Daffodil Day is their biggest fundraiser.
It would be lovely if the TFK posters could donate €4 to the Irish Cancer Society today by texting “daffodil” to 50300.
It would also be great if you could post this message into any of your Whatsapp groups.
An awful pity with it being such a nice day our workplace did a virtual coffee morning earlier and nearly everyone I know is donating the €4
Hi all. As some of you know I have the good fortune to live and work here in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I moved to Cambodia six years ago which was the best decision I ever made professionally and personally.
During the Khmer Rouge Regime the educated classes were targeted and killed. 80%-90% of teachers were murdered. This has ramifications for today’s children with less than 3% reaching minimum learning levels in reading or maths. Children often dropout of school before they complete primary school or before they can read or write. . The reason they are not learning in primary school is because they are being taught by teachers who have received little or no training themselves and often do not know the content they are meant to be teaching.
The charity I have the good fortune to work for is focused on training and mentoring teachers to get children learning in school.
Like many small charities ours is having a very difficult time of it recently. Our fundraising has fallen dramatically with a significant corporate donor having to cut their charitable giving entirely. This drop in funding will have a big impact on our charity and ultimately on Cambodian children.
Having read many of posts on this board on Coronavirus thread I am aware that there is great hardship and misery taking place and now is not a great time to look for money from anyone!
That being said our charity is very much in need of support now.
I ask you to consider watching this short video and donating through the link below. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. A little goes a long way and 100% of funds received will be spent here in Cambodia where it is needed most. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to read this post irrespective of whether you donate.
A shameless thread bump. A massive thank you to the posters who have contributed. Every cent is valued and makes a difference here in Cambodia.
I’d say it’s a tough tine to be hustling for loose change @RaymondCrotty.
Probably same for any charity at the moment, but I know you are reliant on random donations more so than the direct debit for life set up.
Have you considered making outrageous claims about what you can achieve by getting your top people working on a covid cure and promises of guaranteed reward in the afterlife to appeal to a fragile at risk of covid donor ?
Tomorrow is payday @RaymondCrotty,
I’ll help out then, great work
Never apologise for a bump when it’s for a good cause, the majority of us will come through this relatively fine
Thank you very much @backinatracksuit. Appreciate the kind words and the possibility of a donation. Every bit helps.
I’ll throw a bit in when I get the chance.
I think it’s lazy from @RaymondCrotty. There he is, with a young mobile workforce at his fingertips so to speak, and they can’t attend school and there’s a global shortage of face masks etc. A real life lesson would be setting up a mini company and churning out 50-100 thousand of those a day and selling them on the open market.
