I had a McIlroy today lads. I qualified for a final in east cork golf club, the tournament has been going on since April, 5 qualify every Tuesday. I was one of 4 visitors out of 100 to qualify. I was 5 over after 3 holes. Out of it. I played the next 13 holes in one under and then finished bogey, bogey to take myself back out of it. I’ll never slag him again

Golf would break your heart, but that stretch of good holes will keep you coming back. A bit like pussy.

I lost by 3. I had to go in to the prize collection like a mug, for some consolation prize. Birdie on par 5 and par and you win
