This is the Saudis getting the PGA to run their golf investments for them by the looks of it.

What a complete disaster. If he won in St Andrews last year he’d have been become one of the most important people in golf alongside tiger.

Known Rory’s luck he’ll win the us open in a couple weeks time and be the first winner of a human rights abusing major winner.

I hope the sweet prince never tees it up again anyway. I feel this is the end for me and golf anyway.

This is delicious

The big man right for the umpteenth time.

Where does the European Tour end up in it all? Probably downgraded further anyway. The other Gulf states probably will be fairly non plussed with the whole thing

Looks like the PGA tour we’re going to lose a fortune in revenue for their tv deals.

I’d say it was going to continue to struggle for funding and prizemoney as it was. It might act as a worldwide feeder tour now maybe under PGA maybe?

Do we have military technology?
Odd reference re: unmarried mothers

I think the angle is to point out once upon a time we were as backward as some of these people. I heard Richard keys on about it. That these countries are changing their ways just like we did.

I hear in Dubai they’ve off licenses now.

There was a company in Cork who worked on technology components for the Israeli military around 25 years ago. Not sure if they’re still on the go. Not a stretch to think they or companies like them would develop tech that would go to the likes of the Saudis.

You can buy booze in supermarkets over there, but you must have a valid liquor license.

That same country has a finance minister who didn’t have a bank account
