Has anyone read “My Father’s House” by Joseph O’Connor?
Is it worth getting?
Haven’t read it but it got an absolutely glowing review on Arena on Radio 1 a few weeks back.
I’m half way through and thoroughly enjoying it. He’s a tremendous writer.

Probably not quite what you are looking for but I enjoyed Barcelona Dreaming which has three interlinking novellas.
