Kevin Myers has a book out soon about his life in journalism which could be an entertaining read.

I doubt it very much. It’s about how he was hounded out of a job because he consistently wrote nasty things about minorities and those on the edges of society.
My pals who take an interest in whodunnits tell me that the Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman is one of the best books ever written in the genre.
