Very good alright. Doesn’t have the perfect ending which is great but shows how hard it is to be anyway decent as a volunteer coach an keep family life on an even keel. Shows the amazing imbalances in American society as well.[/quote]

It only got a distributor in the past couple of months. It’s a couple of years since it was in the cinema.
Speaking if documentaries, I watched Marley recently. Brilliant film. Absolutely brilliant. Obviously he is a global icon but it’s was amazing to see the impact he and his music had around the world when he was alive. A very balanced piece too that highlighted all the positive amazing things about his character but also the negative parts.
I was almost going to turn it off after 10-15 minutes, with its all too familiar copycat hand held footage, but there’s a great pay off if you stick with it. It takes a turn your not expecting and becomes riveting till the finish. 8/10
Just back from Trance in the cinema. Excellent film. Danny Boyle just doesn’t make anything less than 4 stars. Also, there was a serious candidate in it for the lovely ladies thread that I will have to add tomorrow.
I’d generally be a fan of Danny Boyles work but I can’t abide that James McAvoy cunt so I’m wary of going to see this. I just hope he doesn’t become a fixture in Boyle movies.
