Good Fillums

Saw it myself tonight as well. A bit of a head fuck but enjoyable. I’d advise not learning to much about it before you go see it. I’d concur with the lovely lady comment.

Adam and Paul on next Friday on RTE 2 at 9.10. I’ve never seen it but everyone that has seen it have been waxing lyrically about it. I’ve been roped into babysitting my nephew next Friday so Ill give it a watch. I hope it’s more Garage than What Richard Did.

It is more Garage, from what I can remember… I also thought What Richard Did was shite.

Ah it’s excellent Farmer.

I wouldn’t say it was shite just that it was a bit of a disappointment.

Garage is really superb.

I was told by someone in the know ‘Adam And Paul’ is the greatest Irish film ever. Couldn’t be arsed watching it though.

Adam and Paul is very good. Some very funny moments in it but a sad film too.

Watched a film called Tucker and Dale vs Evil last night. Very funny take on the hillbilly slashing up college kids genre.

Just watched Shadow Dancer. Fairly good flick.

“The house I live in”. An excellent documentary about the “war on drugs” in the US

Adam & Paul is absolute shit. Don’t waste your time.

yes, its an excellent film,

To take my mind off the snub from TFK AFC I went along to the lighthouse cinema in Smithfield to watch Good Vibrations. A wonderful venue it must be said, but also a great movie. I thought it was done very well and an enjoyable story.

Great days I’d say, minus the guns, bombs and hatred of course.

When was the last great youth movement? Grunge or the rave scene? These kids today, fucking hopeless.

You’re not a Belieber buddy?

Get fucked.

Has anyone seen “Grave of the Fireflies”? Watched it on Film 4 last night and haven’t gotten it out of my head since

Mike Bassett England manager. Hilarious.

Going to watch Gangster Squad now. Will post my opinions later.

Got around to watching Searching for Sugarman this evening. Cracking story well told.

It’s one of only a couple of studio ghibli films I haven’t seen. Have recorded it and will watch it soon. I love all the ghibli films, spirited away is my favourite film ever.

Oh and did you see beasts of the southern wild? Posted about here it a few pages, kind of similar atmosphere to some of the ghibli stuff, one of the most beautiful films I’ve seen in a while.

Gangster Squad is an appalling film, why can’t they make good movies about this genre any more? Public Enemies was also dreadful.
