I hope it will be made available to the diaspora. Its probably the only film I’ve been interested in seeing in years.
I saw Iron Man 3 last night. It was a delightful romp.

I thought The Place Beyond The Pines was very good, wasn’t what I was expecting at all.
I caught this over the weekend. It’s very good alright, but the last segment let it down and stopped it from being a great movie I felt. 8.5/10.
Yeah I’d agree with that re the end bit. Thought there was no point to it really. Thought it was pushing it that the two lads happened to meet. Also questioned why the kid would feel such a need to avenge.
Wouldn’t agree with the rating apart from that thought. I felt it was a good film up to then but not very good. The bit on the crooked cops I could take or leave.
Also, how fucking annoying was Cooper’s son?

he fookin wrecked my head !!..was hoping he´d get shot in the face or something… Good film though…everyone cutting themselves a deal in some shape or form…i didn´t get the need for the 2 lads meeting either but it is plausible in a smallish town…
I´d love to bring Eva Mendes home and disappoint her all night…a fookin cracker…absolutely delicious…

Yeah I was probably a little generous but I really enjoyed the first two parts… Yeah the son was a terrible character. I don’t know if he merely over acted or that’s what they were going for, but he certainly ruined my overall pleasure.
i think he was meant to be annoying spoilt little shit as he was vying for his daddy´s attention who was too busy working…it was good acting…the role was to be just an annoying cunt…
Nah…I get all that, but It was over done I felt. Just didn’t come across as genuine… the whole story was just off putting.
I love Ben Mendelson (sic?) as an actor - the lad from Animal Kingdom. He played Gosling’s accomplice.
Another thing - the shooting of the chase of Gosling through the park was fantastic I thought.
I was gonna highlight this chap last night but couldn’t be arsed doing a name search. Fantastic actor!

Don’t know if you saw Animal Kingdom mate but he owns that film. He is one scary, menacing fucker in it.
I honestly can’t decide if this film is going to be any use, it just looks too mental to be worth the effort.
Anyone see Iron Man 3 yet? As a huge fan of Shane Blacks work (The Last Boyscout is one of the greatest actioning buddy films of all time) I expected more to be quite honest. Think this arc is all played out now and it’ll be interesting to see where they go from here, if in fact they go anywhere with RDJ again. And Gwyneth Palthrow can fuck right off the annoying bint. But a mention for Ben Kingsley and his Lear
