I know, I normally like stuff like that! It was at least half an hour too long though, and Elba was kinda crap in it.
Load of shite.
Ive only seen the trailer and plot summary! Don’t thind I would have the stomach for that shit.
No - that was a film by Michael Moore. He’s from the USA.
I knew someone would say that.
No, actually, I knew you would say that.

Do it. Daft stuff but enjoyably daft.
Also, I watched Amistad for the first time over the weekend.
It’s good, it could have been great but everyone is in serious grandstanding mode in it.
It’s more of a series of heartfelt speeches than a movie.
+1 fucking shocking!

The trailer for upcoming film ‘12 Years A Slave’ reminds me a lot of Amistad.
I watched “What Richard Did”. It was shit and the acting was dreadful.
Anyone in favour of naming this the “Film Review Thread” or something along those lines?

I was disappointed with it. I only saw Adam and Paul after I had seen it but that was very good. Garage I thought was absolutely superb.
I wouldn’t call it shit though. I thought that the acting was pretty good actually, particularly from the lead.
This thread won’t be changing names.

His angry faces and emotional scenes were wooden.
I enjoyed Side Effects. For once I found Jude Law put in a decent performance and there was a nice twist that I didn’t see coming. Catherine Zeta Jones was miscast and was shit which would be my only quibble.
8/10.

Just finished watching that. Was expecting better. Agreed on Zeta Jones. 6/10
I watched this last night. Thought it was pretty slow at getting going and once it did you didn’t care enough about any character in the who’d outwit who. Forgettable.
Watching Groundhog Day here again. A superb film that gets better with each viewing.
I’m watching Perfume. Read the book years ago, movie ain’t bad so far, tho I’ve seen some of it before.
