Watched Bronson last night. Bit mental, but enjoyable enough, Tom Hardy is a very good actor.
Watched “Leon”. some fantastic performances, Gary oldman was fantastic…
Eveeeeeeerrrryyyoooooonnneee!!!
Yeah, brilliant performance from him. Super Hans was very good in his brief appearance as well.
Hated that movie for years. Then sat down to watch it again. Realised I was totally wrong and the movie was awesome.
Watched “the iceman” film the other nite would give it a 6/10
Watched “the conjuring” the other nite would give it a 5/10
watched “mud” the other nite would give it a 3/10

I thought Mud was reasonably enjoyable-a good story, well told.
Was waiting for it to really kick off, poor ending really.
I think Oldman was an alcoholic at the time. It certainly shows in his fabulously unhinged performance. There’s a 13 minute video on Youtube of his scenes from the film. I’ve watched it about ten times. Fucking excellent suit he wears too.
Seriously?
I’d have agreed with Fitzy’s review there. What’s the problem, Kev?
I thought Bronson was complete shite, good performance from Hardy but an absolute shite film.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is up on Netflix recently. Worth a watch again…
great
Just watched repo Men. Great shit altogether with some amazing kills. I’d advise anyone to watch it. Probably not Rocko.
The International on RTE 1 last night was an enjoyable watch i thought.

I liked it alright. Kept me up far too late though. It’s the killer with pausing tv to watch later.

Went to see Rush last night-very enjoyable film. The racing scenes were brilliant and it’s a very good story well told. Chris Hemsworth accent is jarring as he plays the English playboy toff but you get over it after the first half hour. Daniel Bruhl is very good as Lauda. Olivia Wilde is incredibly hot. Would recommend for any motorsport enthusiasts.
There’s no average film thread…or no leave the brain at home film thread so im putting this here;
Pacific Rim.
LEave the brain at home, plot holes galore, feels like it was directed by Michael Bay rather than Guillermo del toro.
Enjoyable braindead stuff…
