Kick off in what fucking way exactly?
Is Olivia Wilde anything to Oscar?
Don’t think so-there is an Irish connection alright but I think her parents are Brits.
There’s no average film thread…or no leave the brain at home film thread so im putting this here;
Pacific Rim.
LEave the brain at home, plot holes galore, feels like it was directed by Michael Bay rather than Guillermo del toro.
Enjoyable braindead stuff…
I thought if they’d cut at least a half an hour from it it could have been very good. Stayed very close to an actual anime type feature. I like those kind of turn your brain off movies but when I came out of the cinema I thought it was an awful ball of shite. But now it’s some time on and I kind of want to watch it again…
It’s a stage name, taken in homage to Oscar Wilde. Her real name is Cockburn
You could understand the name change so.
I thought Rush was utter shite. Though I don’t like films per se.
These type of films exist in a realm which i like to call “watchable Shite”
Like all the Resident Evils. Except the first one, which was actually legitimately decent.
In so far as thats who she took her stage name from, then yes.
In reality, no.
She is lovely but.
EDIT Ah, I see this had been answered on the following page

Following page?
On the app you can’t see if there’s another page without flicking into the drop down. Then it wouldn’t let me delete the post, so I edited it instead. It was a very stressful 30 or so seconds but I came through it thankfully.
More importantly who is this girl and can someone, ie you, go add her to the lovely ladies thread?
Have a google mate, you’ll thank yourself for it. The ladies thread is dead in its current location.
I can’t navigate that app properly at all so I feel your pain.
Watching the Breakfast Club here for the nth time.
any good new stuff about?
Rush is very entertaining.
Brilliant bit there where Estevez is talking about bullying another kid.
Just back from Filth. Decent film, even having read the book it’ll shock a bit. Loses a good bit from the book, but James McEvoy gives a tour de force, absolutely brilliant performance.
