McConnaughey’s cameo at the start set the bar and Leonardo carried it from there brilliantly.[/quote]
Epic scene. The fucking head on McConnaughey

“Sell me this pen”
The quality of pussy on show is unreal, the Duchess!
She’s come a long way since she lived on Ramsey Street
Seem to be some rave reviews on Wolf of Wall street on here. I’m highly sceptical, more so since hearing it comes in at 3 hours long.
If you don’t like what you see in the first 20 minutes walk out but I promise you wont.
Doubt I’d walk out anyway but I expect that first 20 minutes basically repeats itself for the rest of the film.
American Hustle was the most disappointing film I’ve seen in a long, long time. Someone asked me the next day what it was about and I just shrugged.
Thats the best summation I’ve heard for it in, its basically a clothes commercial for the 70s.
The Hunt with Mads Mikkelsen. Very very good. Child sex abuse allegation and it’s consequences. 8 out of 10.
The Wolf of Wall Street is absolutely class.
Jonah Hill is exceptional. 3 hours but it flew by.

Went to it tonight-very, very entertaining. I would eat coleslaw out of the Duchesses’ arse.
Just watched it myself. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 8.5/10.
Watched it myself as well tonight. Thought it was pretty ordinary bordering on poor. About an hour and a half too long. Very uneventful. Far too much filler - the scene where the drugs kicked in and Di Caprio attempts to get back to the car was bottom of the barrell and shocking from Scorsese. Of course you had the tards in the cinema laughing their heads off.
Basically the same plot as Goodfellas but a pale imitation of it. Doesn’t say much for Scorsese when he has to keep returning to the same tried, and getting boring now, formula.
The chick in it was out of this world though.

Haven’t seen this and wouldn’t be especially eager to but I’ve always thought any of Scorsese’s films that I’ve seen to be very overrated.

They’re both ‘true’ stories.
Are you a hipster farmer?
