Excellent shout. Very enjoyable.
Mid90s a decent watch. A loose biopic of Jonah hills early teens which is a surprisingly decent watch. It’s a bit like Stand By Me on skateboards. Good tack
Just finished ‘Aliens’ there now. What a fucking show
I think I’ll start into the ‘V’ series this week.
Prey (2022) is a super 90 minute movie
Going mad to watch Nick Hornby’s Fever Pitch. Anyone know where I’d get it?
You looking for hardback or kindle?
I can download it for you on a torrent if stuck.
DropBox it to you.
Bang has it
Leave it with me on this and I get back to ya.
Apocalypto is something else.
If he hadn’t gone off on the Jews, auld Mel was on his way to having a directing career to match his acting one
Looks like this story is all falling apart.
It is pretty much a Californian skateboarding pastiche of This Is England
I watched The Batman last night with Robert Pattinson.
I enjoyed but not for everyone - probably lacks the special effects and grippy drama of the Nolan/Bale versions but I enjoyed Pattinson playing an Emo Batman. It is touching three hours long and the climax wasn’t great but I enjoyed the rest of it which was a dour noir story
Couldn’t believe Colin Farrell was in it until I saw the cast lust at the end
Aye, a little Overlong but nicely gritty if a little self indulgent. Me woman Kravitz was class in it.
Farell is one of the greatest actors of this or any generation
I saw Dog Day Afternoon years ago but never knew it was based on a true story. Wojtowicz seems to have been a tremendous character.
What a wonderful film that was.
Sidney Lumet
Attica, Attica!
Good early 90s movie on Sky here with Richard Gere and Andy Garcia. Internal Affairs
I watched the Wes Anderson animated movie Isle of Dogs last night. Very good movie even if the allegory was laid on a bit thick.
