A Fistful of Dynamite also known as Once Upon a Time in the Revolution also known as Duck You Sucker on Sky Arts here. Dinger of a spaghetti western with James Coburn as an Oirish revolutionary in Mexico.

Here’s the bit shot in Toners
And finishes up in Howth.
I love that film.Unreal score in it
Suze an auld heart-warmer with decent bit of humour. 2 main characters are very good
Went to the Bob Dylan movie, A Complete Unknown there tonight. Good solid linear musical biopic that trots along at a lovely gallop. It never feels like a 140 minute movie. The denouement at the Newport Folk Festival is great and brings the film firmly into 4/5 territory.
Chalamet sings in his own voice too and spent a few years learning the harmonica.
He puts in a fine performance.
I watched this last night with the missus. We both hated it. Felt it was dull, plodded along like an old carthorse and didnt reveal anything of the essence of the great man. Couldn’t wait for it to be over in the end, seemed to go round in circles, fag with Woody, broody scene with squeeze and then a snatched song.
Not for me 1/5. Big Dylan fan here but very disappointed with this biopic.
Your one who plays Joan Baez is a very attractive woman.
I thought it was a great film. I don’t think anyone really knows the real Bob Dylan because he doesn’t want to let anyone know. Having said that all evidence seems to point to him being a contrary cunt and this film doesn’t sugar coat that fact.
Monica Barbosa. Joan Baez was a stunner in her day too.
I watched this on Friday evening. Very enjoyable. Succession’s Jeremy Strong gives a tour de france as Roy Cohen the dodgy lawyer who takes a young Trump under his wing. 70s and 80 New York is depicted brilliantly in all its grubby glory.
Lazarus wasn’t fucking about here. Great movie. Well worth your time.
The Big Red One
Never seen it before.
I enjoyed that one too mate ![]()

That’s the old one?
My sixth class primary school teacher, an uncle of @neilld (I think) and a truly great man, loved that movie and played it for us a couple of times that year although I’d say it had a 15s rating
He also played Red Dawn for us which had tits in it if I remember correctly
Good times ![]()
Watched it tonight - decent film, fairly warts and all to his credit rather than a self aggrandising story.
I wasn’t even a teen but I remember there being serious hype around his slane gig in 1998
