O’Donoghue asked Trap would he consider his position with two games left of the qualifiers and we still had a chance to qualify. He’s a fucking idiot.
What Trap and O’Neill did even qualifying for those tournaments was a super achievement and gave the shoes in the hand lads two great holidays.

It wasn’t really that extraordinary. It relied on decent professionals (already highly motivated as some of them were playing for their country), being reasonably well organised and disciplined.
It’s the bare minimum one would expect from any professional manager.
He has been playing to par by and large.
He is a snouty grumpy fucker all the same, who you’d think would be a bit more cheerful given the salary to actual work ratio.
