it’s a terrible era for centre halves to be fair. With Thiago Silva and Sergio Ramos on the wane there is nothing really to hold a candle to previous generations
Gullit was definitely not a CB (Chelsea I think gave him a stint as a Sweeper alright, but that’s not what he’s remembered for). Rijkaard played there a bit but I would have had him down as more of a defensive midfielder?
