There is no mention of his former club the article. His analysis is lazy and based on a suspicion of foreigners that is prevalent amongst middle aged British football analysts.

I did. Football 365 wouldn’t be the most reputable of sources though. I’d probably places it below the likes of the Star and just above the Sun.
Is he not married to an Irish woman now? He worked on Irish TV for years and had a great relationship with the GOAT quartet of Dunphy, Giles, Brady and Billo. I don’t have any particularly strong opinions on Souey but he sure as hell is living rent free in heads on here😅

I’ve just done a bit of research into this. This De Zebri chap has a very flimsy looking managerial cv to be landing himself a job in the top league in the world. He’s managed Shakthar Donetsk and a few journeymen Italian sides, Foggia, Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo and Darfo Boario. Those last three teams, I’ve never even heard of. It’s a very hipster appointment.
