Great Gigs & Live Bands

Heard that on the radio the other night (Jim Lockhart standing in for John Kelly) but I didn’t pick up the band correctly so it wouldn’t come up on a search. That’s a round about way of saying thanks for that pal.

No bother. Disappointed they didn’t include Atlas Song (live version below)

My favourite song from that album, played it a lot in a last few hours before a family member passed. Gonna try and make a show in October.

Sitting outside here in Edinburgh, just heard the Proclaimers do ‘Letter from America’ up at the castle, goosebump stuff

Are you in Edinburgh?

There is a version of him singing that at the Reading festival recently enough and it’s off the charts in terms of quality.

Cook has reached out numerous times in an effort to give him a few quid, but nothing. The picture was taken at the 1983 ‘Fat People’s Festival’ in Danville, Virginia.

Touts supporting, they’re great. Give em a listening you haven’t yet.

Radiohead live at Glastonbury 1997 is on BBC2 now. Music went downhill after this gig.
