Been so many Wexford thrillers down the years. This one was absolutely incredible. I was working with Irish Ferries on the Rosslare to Cherbourg/Roscoff route. It was two weeks on and two weeks off. I was due back on the ship on the Saturday before the game but went over on my ankle earlier in the week in a preseason fixture for my local association football club and it swelled up like a balloon so I had to take a few days off. Went to Dublin on the Saturday night on the piss. Great days. Great game. Was totally and utterly drained after it. Thankfully I was at sea for the replay, much like the Wexford team.
