8 out of 10 my hole.

What magazine is that?

Uncut

It’s from uncut,
Heartworm is an Irish classic, no Irish publication would dare give it less than 9/10
A brilliant album, but side A is vastly superior to side B, though I was fond of ‘personality’ for the Koo Stark reference which seemed so out of place in 1995

It loses two marks because the lead singer was such a ginnet

Not sure if I agree there. The albums ends brilliantly - last three songs. Users is my favourite song on it.

The album rightly loses a couple of ticks for self indulgence

Best Irish album of all time

It’s too woke

Listened to the whole thing again a few weeks ago, thought it was all incredible. I also like the 2nd half. The last song is nearly the best one.

And the hidden track !

Which isn’t on Spotify BTW

Don’t they still play the odd gig where Ferghal’s on stage wearing a bicycle helmet and throws sponges at the crowd or similar bizarre carry on.

He did a stage dive in UCD once and a few lads stood back leaving only a few to try hold him and he face planted, we all had a good chuckle at it.
