Who wants to go out with a miserable person who wants their partner to be an emotional crutch?
Why?
I met an amazing woman and had a whirlwind infatuation with her that I felt was mutual. It wasn’t, did you expect it to have no effect on me? I went through a phase of grieving and melancholy but I’m coming round again.

That’s good mate.
Christ - you don’t half talk in generalisations.
Maybe you weren’t happy with yourself as you had not met the woman of your dreams. But now you have.
@Bandage was saying this to me earlier.
Any update on this front Glas your gone all coy on us
It’s crazy that you would have to point such a thing out, particularly to someone like @caoimhaoin who prides himself on being an expert on the human psyche.
More disingenuous horse shit.
It’s very clear I never portrayed such things as ideal.

@Bandage knows the score here.
That is why @Bandage is a high flying international business man in the pinnacle of his life and @carryharry is working three days a week in some backward rural garage, living in a council house, sitting in his jocks all day smoking drugs and watching porn.
She sounds very selfish!
We’re chatting at the moment, she texted me this evening about a photo of me on facebook. A few positive signs I think. We’re playing the long game here. She’s abroad for a couple of weeks shortly. That suits me grand. I’ll get in touch when she gets back and not be bombarding her with messages before then.

Each to their own mate. I would run a mile from any girl that suggested she needed a boyfriend or a ‘soulmate’ to be happy. Fuck right off.
You’re some simpleton. Preaching about the glory days of the 1980s when kids were free to get in any coach’s car and sure what harm. It’s fucking nonsense. That wasn’t a better time for children.
I said no such thing, you conniving scamp @farmerinthecity.
Have we moved from au pairs to relationships on this rollercoaster of a thread now?
Ya but the benefits are clearly way better to have the parent around for some of the time and the kid mixing with others then at a crèche.
Now again it’s about the cheap option. Why not dump the sky sports for the crèche?

Because most creches aren’t interested in taking a child for some of the time only. And many people have reservations about sending their children to creches. And others have reservations about child minders. And they are perfectly legitimate opinions. And your opinion isn’t superior. It’s just more stubborn and deluded.
You do realise this is SIDS alter ego?
Bomber will father a dynasty before this virgin gets his hole.
Ah it probably was for the vast vast majority of kids no Rocko?
Will see how @Il Bomber Destro gets on with his soulmate in a few years time, getting up at 6am, dropping the sprog off in the dark and dropping 1200 euro for the privilege!
