you are such a fucking freak and so blissfully unaware of it…

I saw an ad here recently for creche services on a weekend. That’s wrong.

Well I know in Cork at least people are putting kids in on whatever amount of days they want. It’s structured, but it’s not like you have to commit to 5 days or whatever.

I accept your other points and as I said many times most cases are different.

It still doesn’t get away from my main point that I believe lots of young Irish parents are being selfish towards their own material wants and their own careers to the detriment of spending time with their kids. And it is only the career driven ones here who are arguing strongly against it, and it’s very telling.

I want them both to be happy.

Probably, but it’s still a little odd to wax lyrical about “teachers could drive kids to a match and home again after, that can’t happen now.” There’s a very good reason why not and I’m not sure anyone would be comfortable about reverting to the other situation. @Bisto is just feeling a little silly because he didn’t realise that child poverty might contribute to a higher mortality rate and tried to argue the opposite bizarrely.

Looking forward to it.

absolute nonsense…read back through the posts Mr. Lifestyle!..

think you’ll find you initially said infant mortality and changed to child mortality when i pointed out the medical advancements in last 30 years, squire…

I think the critical question that needs answering is whether @caoimhaoin uses a dog sitting service or bring his dogs on holidays with him.

Well?

That is a quite incredible statement but classic Kev. Of course the fact that you have never been in the position yet feel free to call such people selfish seems perfectly reasonable to you.

You can be mildly witty at times

Do you even lift, bro?

Horsey is sound Fran, give him a second chance.

How’s your bodybuilding routine going?

You were being selfish on saturday when you wouldn’t come out with the lads. Pisshands is only in the country for two weeks!!!

In other news I’ve just booked my second foreign holiday for the year!!! Ten days in the south of France in May. And we’ve decided to take the kids.Yariba!!!

Enjoy it mate. Your au pair will love the trip home.

It’s unbelievable. But you have to see where some of these lads come from to realise the mentality.

It’s all about the deniro’s.

Capitalist pigs.

If you’re going to try and be pedantic then try and be correct in your nitpicking. If you can point out where I said “child mortality” I’d be hugely obliged*.

*Timesaving hint: I didn’t.
