So to clarify, did the drifter win?[/quote]

Iāll pass.
Coverage on Setanta again now from the weekend.
Thought Sat night is on RT.
Looking forward to seeing the card for saturday night.
Super card.
Cmon Chrity ta fook, even though in reality Causeway is probably a penatly kick.
-Christy, Chris and Causewayā¦
Is Belvedere Champ worth a few bob at a whopping 33/1 to win the derby at this stage i wonder? Heās nicely drawn in trap 1 and is a good finisher. I expect trouble outside him, with the likes of Cashen Legend and Collegeā¦
3.5L behind Cashen Legend
6.5L behind College Causeway
Even 8L behind Slip The Lark who couldnt get out of a semi final
Hasnāt won a race since March
Money in the bank Dunph
Dunph likes an outsider
True, all the outsiders heās bet on so far are doing wellā¦
Who are you backing so wiseguy? College Causeway i suppose.
For what itās worth i also like the look of Cashen Legend at 8/1, over-priced as well and maybe worth a small bet.
I certainly wonāt be backing the Causeway at the price he is and the task he has. And i donāt fancy Shaneboy, Faypoint or Oran Classic at their prices. Well, thatās my reasoning anyway.
Flying Winner, play or lay? This is a bit sharp for her but Iām worried about the stamina of Corporate Attack. My private tissue writer makes him a 6/4 shot so the 7/4 available about him is hardly a rick. Fears about FWās well being can be allayed by her Trec last time.
Verdict: Lay the front two and hope Hennessy might beat them all.

If Causeway gets a clear run he wonāt be beaten. Iāve made money off both himself and Cashen the last 2 weeks so I donāt really care if I lose money on him on Saturday. Iāll see how he looks on the night. If I was pushed Iād probably go for himself and Cashen in a forecast and then double him up with Kiowa Myth in the plate final (should be a great race between himself and Christy). Might do a speculative accum with those 2, Tyrur Chris and Accordello in the last 2 races.
All depends on conditions Dunph but Iād avoid Trap 1 like the plague. Your dog isnāt a fast breaker so if he canāt get to the first bend in front I wouldnāt fancy him to have the pace to get past the other lads. He might be a good finisher but if he has to have any chance he needs to break well and go away from them.

I like Corporate Attack myself.

I just think heās a very big price for such a competitive race where anything can happen outside him. Iāll probably back Cashen Legend as well but i wonāt be going mad on either. I canāt be having any of the short priced dogs in this one, but i could change my mind on one of them before the big night.
Iām on Faypoint ante post but after yelping coming off the track the last night youād be very fearful. If I have a bet on the night it will be Cashen Legend I think, bit of a pricewise sort of bet who may have been under appreciated amid all the talk about Scolari Me Daddy and St Louis Spirit etc. Fair price at 8/1 in a race where the jolly is poorly drawn.
Desptite holding a 25/1 College Causeway docket, I will be going back in to top it up on Saturday night. Thi swonderful dog will not be beaten unless there is carnage in Saturday night. Drawn wide will suit for final night, as he will see the hare before the breakers inside as none of them will hear it with the roar.
Would be very sceptical about backing Winner, but hopefully Harry the dog will eb in to take on Hegarty about his bitch.
Pureists will want Kiowa Myth to win the plate. I will want Christy to win, and will be backing him at a generous price, reckon I will get 7/2 on the night.
Chris should follow up last will match win and but I havent really looked at the race.
My usual Saturday night free money dog, Minnies Oscar will not be getting a spin this week so will have to find a substitute. Accordello perhaps, Mac, SS** and insight to this hound.
Oh, and Dunph, 5/4 is a great price about a winner, not much value in a 33/1 beaten docket.

25/1 on CC? Who laid you that? That was a savage price. Fancy him big time for the final myself, think heāll blow them away.
Itāll be question of how far for flying winner imo.
RTE are only showing coverage from Shelbourne from 9-10.00pm tonight.
Does anyone know of anywhere to watch the full card on tv/internet?
