Thereās always a shedload of rabbits and hares on the auld fellaās land. Even saw a few of them over the festive period during the cold snap
Place nets over all the likely escape routes at one end of a field, then start from the other end and drive the hares towards the nets. Iāve never done it myself mind.
Did the sales go ahead at Thurles yesterday?
Yeah, went ahead ok but with no trials, there was one stand out lot with a reserve of 1000 that went unsold.
Ickledo Miranda wbk B (Big Daddy Cool - Minnies Miranda). Could probably be purchaed for slightly less then the bag of sand as well with a big of negotiating.
Ok, the BDCās are cunts for the most part, but she is full sister to Tyrur Quinn (former Minnies Oscar), and also half sister to very capable bitch Mustang Miranda. She is can run and has a nice bit of early pace, but has serious brood potential coming from the great Minnies Selina Minnies Nikita line⦠I am very tempted.
Apart for that there were a few nice graders picked up for small money for a career running bags races for parasites in england. The cunts were running dogs on fooking ice yesterday.

I take it you were there hangblaa, was there many in attendance?
These BAGs lads are the lowest of the low by all accounts?

No wasnt there, and only saw the catolog yesterday, so enquired with somebody that was there as to how much that bitch made⦠A few years ago she would have gotten 3k handy.
The noble sport of greyhound racing has been annihilated by the bookmakers and the promoters in England, Dunph. Itās all very sad.
Youāll have to elaborate somewhat iām afraid SS**, because as you know iām relatively new to all this.
From what iāve heard, the lads that partake in the BAGs meetings are utter cunts and then of course iām aware of all the stadium closures there of the last few years.
I was talking to an auld lad from England the other day who was telling me he knows a few lads over there who would have dogs in the BAGs scene. He was saying theyāve the whole thing sewn upā¦
Hard to explain fully but thereās no leadership basically, Dunph. Theyāre all squabbling amongst themselves, thereās about 10 different organisations all railing against each other and the only winners are the off-course bookmakers who are using the game for their own ends and putting scarcely little back. They badly need a strong central organisation cracking the whip and controling the elements of chaos that inhabit the greyhound world over there.
Seeing Walthamstow being closed down was a crying shame. The noble game of dog racing is nearly extinct in the first city of the empire at this stage. There must have been nearly 20 tracks in London at one stageā¦

This could be a dinger of a story if the rumours are true.
I wonder will the truth ever come out???

He showed some improvement anyway but i wonder will he ever run again? Hasnāt raced since and that was in June of last year. Pity the video isnāt available.
Why wasnāt there a stewards enquiry or why wasnāt the dog tested on the night?

Thereās a lot more to it than that dunph!
Iām intrigued, weāll have to discuss this privately.
you seem to be doing a lot of that at the moment
Story in todayās Sunday Times about the Mays Hurryonboy saga. That particular paper is never slow to print a bad news story about greyhound racing. On the other hand a search for āCollege Causewayā or āKinda Readyā on their website returns zero hits.

Did any of ye see the story about David Parks kennels up in Armagh being the subject of an arson attack the other night. Supposedly, most of the dogs in his kennels were killed by smoke inhalation and those that survived arenāt expected to ever recover properly enough to race againā¦
