What kind of iMac, I’ll look at the mini but there’s a fair few different ones.
Can you run Microsoft office on an iMac, and if you buy one do you need to buy a load of software on top?
Is there a non union Mexican equivalent?

You do not need an iMac. You can transfer photos from an Apple phone to a Windows PC, or even just a laptop, I don’t know why you even want a desktop other than for the aesthetics of having a desktop.

Well it’s the aesthetics. When I said non union Mexican equivalent, I meant are there any nice looking desktops about that are better or as good as apple, and aren’t robbing bastards like apple.
It’s really the looks that are paramount here, and being able to run Microsoft office and photos off an iPhone and have WiFi.

Mac mini. It’s like an android box. Your family are already slaves to apple so you may as well go the whole hog

I have an iPhone myself and use a Windows system with no issues/limitations.
