Depends what you like in a hurley, I got a batch of about 8 or 9off Ben O Conner(cork legend) about 18 months ago and still have 4 of them left, smashing hurleys to be honest, nice weight to themā¦Torpey in sixmilebridge is alright, his young lad does a fine job but the ones he makes are only good for beating cattleā¦Forde above in Ogonnalloe used to make them but I dunno if he is still at them, nice hurleys but no bit durableā¦
Any good hurley makers out your, there surely must be, sure Camross would keep them going by themselves

Ever use Daly hurleyās from Pallaskenry? I only need a hurley as a means of keeping the corner back away from me so quality was a minor issue, but some of the lads who know how to use em properly swear by them. OāConnors in Ballybrown are supposed to be good as well.

Yaaa huppp. I resurrected my hurling career this year with a stint with the junior Bās. Couldnāt even find a hurley at home to bring up with me (well I couldnāt find a hurley small enough to bring with me!)
