As much as I like my ex team mate @Scrunchie, I think his story is a load of irrelevant nonsense.
So Liverpool fans stormed a gate in Athens?
What on earth has that to do with Hillsborough?
It has been proven by enquiry that the police were at fault for Hillsborough.
That story is like someone telling a story about how Ian Bailey assaulted someone after someone else was found guilty of murdering Sophie Toscan Du Plantier.
Mind your self now or youâll be told you are part of a cult⌠I had heard that there was a bit of trouble in Athens mind, no doubt after the exploits of 05 they all wanted in on the action, but it has nothing to do with Hillsborough as you sayâŚplenty of fans go without tickets and chance their arm, itâs how the authorities are set up that usually deters them.

I think itâs very relevant farmer. Admirable to see lads launch in to defend the honour of a people that theyâve no connection with. All we need now is for someone to call Scrunchie a Mancs cunt.
England is a protestant country you arsehole, and so what? What the fuck has religion to do with anything, whatâs this, 1814? Christ above, you boggers boil my blood.
Is the term bogger meant to be an insult? Iâd rather be a bogger than a windy townie cunt

It has a lot to do with Hillsborough as it shows that Liverpool fans are uncouth and difficult to control.
Check out the stats for match day violence in the uk, pal. Us scousers are way down the list and both Manc clubs are at the top with the geordies. I hate those Mancs.

And they stormed two gates.
I donât know if that was meant for me but I didnât set out to defend anyoneâs honour. I was merely pointing out the irrelevance of the point and also trying to show up those who gushed in with praise for it.
I know a lot of Liverpool fans and not just the casual sort like you and the man from Leitrim but hardcore ones that attend lots of matches and the best word i would use to describe them would be âanimalsâ.
I would say it has a lot to do with Hillsborough. I didnât infer that Hillsborough was the fault of any fan but what happened in Athens was Liverpool fans fault. I agree totally plenty of fans go to matches without tickets and chance their arm. But come on, thousands of thugs storming two gates like an angry mob? Bit more than a a cheeky try now.
I posted in the Hillsborough thread because this was Liverpool fans squashing Liverpool fans and youâd think of all fans theyâd have more cop on. And they were the thoughts of the Liverpool lads watching it.
@farmerinthecity I love you too. But your Ian Bailey comparison is laughable.
Why are you so upset about it? These people have nothing to with you. The people Scrunchie described in Athens are fucking animals. In light of Heysel and Hilsborough it certainly casts aspersions on the behaviour of the people from the city of Liverpool.

You still havenât explained what it has to do with Hillsborough?

When Celtic played Dundee to clinch the league less than a year before Hillsborough, Celtic Park was estimated to be anywhere from 10k to 30k over the official capacity of 60,800.
