Iâm no expert but youâre probably underselling yourself
Somewhere near Lagos?
Yep, nice area.
The beach at the east end of Alvor where you take a lift down from the cliff top is one of the finest I have ever been on.
About eq.âŹ8.
Itâs beautiful. If you are a fan of seafood you are in heaven down there.
I was in Lagos once. Itâs not Faro away at all.
Tis off my list anyway.
White flags?
How much was that, 54 euro?
Canât recall offhand but Fooley posted the menu up earlier.
As an infrastructure finance specialist I must say I was very impressed with the Harpa building. It makes Dublinâs convention centre look very inferior.
Thatâll put all the wankers saying it was a gloomy lifeless empty place right back in their boxes!
I never thought anyone could make @KinvarasPassionâs holiday in Clondalkin look good but @Bandage has somehow managed to do it here
Bandage
After our respective economic crashes and the quips about âReykjavik on the Liffey â can you post a picture of a tall crane to give a degree of reassurance the Icelandic enonomy has turned .
Guys, I highly recommend Arnar Eggertâs Reykjavik Music Walking Tour. Youâll find him on all the usual social media channels.
Thanks for your query @Ashman. I was up in the tower at the top of the proddy church earlier and took some shots. That tall structure down by the waterfront is the Harpa and youâll note some cranes down beside it. This area appears to be undergoing development.
Okay guys, thatâs me away. My life partner told me to back to the hotel by 11pm our time so catch you all tomorrow.
I have really enjoyed your updates and photos, much appreciated. I was thinking of going to Iceland this summer, would have cost about 5k all in, I definitely wonât now. It was a toss up between there and Tokoyo but youâve the made the choice easy.
After seeing those pics, Iâd rather go to Courtown than Iceland.
