if you can do more than 3 weeks, that would be my main advice. 3 weeks will only get you through one country IMO. definitely worth it though.

Good advice Gman. I want to go for 6 weeks. I am 50/50 on jacking this job and going off for 6 weeks and then starting a new career when I come back. Weighing up the risk factor-hence all plans are pie in the sky at the moment. If I only go for 3, the plan is to spend 10-14 days in Patagonia and Argentina and then probably one other country.

@Horsebox, take the advice on only one country in 3 weeks and see a good bit properly. Unless you decide to to stick to the mid and south of Argentina and Chile. If you’re jacking in the job and considering 6 weeks then try push it out to longer altogether.
