Don’t go to Tunisia, its boring and shite.
Morocco is shite too.
I’m thinking of heading off for 3-4 weeks around Europe, possibly (preferably) on my own.
I am thinking of taking in the following:
Brussels
Amsterdam
I would love to take in Pamplona or one of these places in Spain for a bull run as i’ve always wanted to see it but it is a fair trek from the likes of Amsterdam or Brussels to Spain.
I’m open to any other suggestions. I will probably stay away from Eastern Europe…
Go to Bruges. It’s like a fairytale.
Is Bruges different to Brussels?
When i said Brussels i meant Bruges, as in the place off the film…
My first recommendation to you would be to buy a map.
I forgot to add i want to take in an English city as well on the way back…
I tohught Bruges was the Belgian word for Brussels. I don’t know what i was thinking, i’ve even seen the film.
Maybe this trip isn’t such a good idea.
I know its not English but have you ever been to Edinburgh? Great spot
I haven’t seen Edinburgh but am conscious of costs and time spent travelling mounting up so am thinking of limiting myself to four or a maximum of five places to visit.
Bruges and Amsterdam are definites, obviously enough…
Have you thought about visiting Hull?
Edinburgh is class Dunph, I’d squeeze it in if I were you.
Are you still going to Bruge even though we’ve figured out its not Brussels?
A lone holiday to Amsterdam
One postive about going to Edinburgh is there is flights to Shannon and the other places in Europe from there so it might be convinient to take it in either on the way out or the way back.
Failing that, London.
Problem?
I’m looking into going to Italy too. Although this is starting to get expensive…
Interrail it Dunph.
No i have desire to spend long hours traveling on a carriage.
The two of you are right, Edinburgh will be ideal and becomes the third city i will add to my list…*
*Though i believe Bruges isn’t technically a city.
are you spending a week then at each of the 4 cities? you’d be bored stupid in some of them on your own for a week.
Gman i haven’t thought this through fully and it is something i hadn’t even thought of when i woke up this morning. I am thinking now of cutting it back to no more than 3 weeks…
Berlin or Munchen. That’s near Munich apparently. Munich is the hub of the whole European railway network and you can do whatever you want from there. Inter railing is the business.
Dunph loves Munchen.
