If no one wants to pay that then the room will be empty. If a family can afford and want to pay that then let them work away.
It’s not like anyone is being forced to pay it.

It’s an absolutely class hotel. Have stayed there a good few times. Its a place you go with your wife as a treat for 2 nights with the kids left at home with the grandparents.
Anyone even thinking about a week break in a 5 star with full family in tow doesn’t need to worry about money.

You’d get a lovely hotel in Tralee for less than half that I’d imagine. Tralee hasn’t the same restaurant and pub options, but it has plenty of both at the same time. It’s can be a little bit of a kip but it is improving to be fair to it. You’d be less than half an hour from Killarney as well, so you could easily still do all the “Killarney” things.
You’d get dozens of better deals if you wanted them. Not really the point though
The Adare manor is probably €10k for the same period. But sure it is what it is.

Anyway two nights in Killarney is plenty. You’d be milked dry by the yerras otherwise

Once in a generation chance to persuade large chunks of the country to holiday at home instead of abroad and they can’t help them self. We’ll have the Healy-Raes in due course putting on the poor mouth too

Was looking up inchydoney for September. 360 a night family room. 260 double room.
It wouldn’t be that price I’d say but it’s not 5 star

We’re eyeing this up this year. Inchodyney is lovely. We got a voucher there as a wedding gift
Lads giving out about spending a few bob holidaying at home. The same fellas would happily piss it up against a wall in Frigiliana. Pull on the green jersey boys, let’s get Ireland moving again.
