Savage day in West Waterford,
Up Mahon Falls this morning, gave the kids a spin on the magic road and hiked up to the falls in the sunshine, went for coffee and the most extraordinary desserts in a place at the bottom called Cruagh Coffee I think, Clonea strand was insanely wedged and parking wasn’t on the cards so we went back to stradbally for beach, finished up the day having fish and chips while dangling out legs over the Harbour wall, a place called …and chips,(by Eunice Power) as good as you’ll get in Ireland, had two bottles of local lager while we waited a half an hour for our grub,
Dungarvan was wedged this evening, beautiful town

Lovely beaches in Louisburg and more in Achill. You’re not far from Iniscrone either. Lovely playground in Ballina on the way. The Mulranny to Achill greenway is nice, hire bikes at reasonable cost. Country museum in Castlebar on a wet day with a bit of bowling if stuck. Westport for a bit of atmosphere.

I’d have little interest bar dingle. North Kerry is a hell hole.
All the Limerick boys especially the whest Limerick boys have a serious horn for everything Kerry. The look at Kerry like a big brother.

I’d say the opposite. The great thing about dingle is you wouldn’t meet many you’d know. If you head to lahinch it’s basically just limerick relocated.
The cross we have to bare for the best farm land in the country is we’ve to travel for a beach

But it’s simply not true. There isn’t a fear youd meet as many limerick people in dingle as you would in kilkeee or lahinch.
You are confusing football people supporting Kerry in a few towns with people going on their holidays.

I like dingle. I’ve been going there regularly since I’m young. You couldn’t pay me to spend a day in ballybunion or somewhere like that. I think they are awful kips.
