Riordans - That’s the one…
I remember drinking out in the Red Cellar when just out of short pants — they’d have folk/rebel bands out there on Sundays - the head blown off my on 3 cider and I singing away marching up and down the pub - great days.

As the saying goes down here, a beach a day for a fortnight. There are a load of beaches around, all top class IMO. We’d usually go to Baginbun, which would be on the other side of the peninsula from Booley and Dollar Bay, can often depend on the wind direction which gives better shelter, or how busy it is around. I posted on one of the threads here before about the kayaking trip they do out of Baginbun, really well worth it if you’re down again. They do a family one too that you can bring the kids out on.
That place was burnt down a couple of times.
Golden Vale has the best land dies it not!?
I was up there a few weeks ago, put the picture up here and all, it was a tricky descent with the dog
That pub called t’he Hamlet’ always struck me as an interesting spot @Thomas_Brady, is that one of the ones ye mentioned under its local name?
I remember cycling to Lough Gur and climbing up the hill the day Italy beat Brazil 3-2 in the 1982 World Cup. Paolo Rossi.
I always wanted to have a pint in The Hamlet. Looked like place that would have great porter
There’s no fear of Westport anyway.
Smashing few days in The Paymaster’s counties giving Dublin Jimmy a good send off - the heat on that stairway today was off the scale. There was muldoons in 3/4 lengths flaked out at the bottom of the steps unable to give any more.

Is that the “stairway to heaven”
Is that photo of your hand meant to be there?
You’ve traversed some terrain there. Enjoy the Nuremore, the pint is deserved. Warm humid day.
