Stayed there once in one of those beachfront guesthouses many years ago on the way back to the ferry. Grand spot. Nicer than Blackpool anyway.

try lytham st annes next time youre near blackpool

That’s a very very very low bar.
The walk over the hill is nice though.

The Great Orme of Llandudno?

I’m after spilling tea down the front on my t-shirt so there’s a big stain, that along with me hobbling around on my gout infested foot makes me look like one of those special needs entrants. I might try to skip one of the queues

What’s an Aileen?

My sister and her 3 little ones stayed there during the summer with my Ma. They left without staying the full stay.

The hotel and restaurant are completely seperate operating entities or some shit. Meant they couldn’t get dinner at the place they were staying as place they were staying didn’t have a restaurant even tho restaurant was on/within same grounds??

Some mad shit anyway. Cpuole that with bad weather and nothing really preventing the kids bombing down to the ocean and they took off with a day or two still.left on the booking

I’d imagine it’s a play on the world famous wave off the Cliffs of Moher

They stayed in one of the cottages rather than the hotel itself?

I was at a wedding there few years ago and stayed a few days after. I thought it was a smashing spot. Surprisingly so as I always had in my head it was big standard country wedding hotel
