Limerick Limerick Limerick

Ive been down before a couple of times. better to stay in LK than in clare as I’ve to hit shannon as well

In other Hotel related news I look across Eyre Square and see they are changing the name of The Meryick Hotel today

The Absolute or The George

The Limerick City hotel is the type of place you might book cheap rooms for a group like a stag. Any of the other hotels mentioned would be grand.

Friend of mine’s Mrs works there and during the recession, we got a deal there one summer, €120 a night b&b plus spa for a huge suite. Fine spot

Is the course good?

Very nice golf course. Some of the biggest sand dunes in Ireland. Greg Norman designed. Was very difficult but made easier when it underwent a small redesign. €50 is great value when you consider what La Hinch, Ballybunion etc charge.

V underrated hotel. Was at a wedding there few weeks back. Deceptive as you said

Headfort Arms in Kells is a fine spot

I thought the hotel prices would be extortionate for July/Aug but they are actually very reasonable (in Belfast anyway).

I wonder what gives.

Belfast in July.

Always a tourist hot spot.

Obviously the lack of carnivals this time of year is a letdown.
