How Highly do you Rate Fitzgibbon/Siegerson

A load of shite. The Harty is bigger.

Never seen either play Joe.

I think Fitzgibbon will be a deccent addition to the Limerick panel in time, and siggerson is doing an effective job for Swansea, but wouldn’t rate either very highly.

no surprise to see the limerick lads know facuk all about GAA. stick to the rugby boys:D

Mark Renton told me you’d often be wearing a Limerick Jersey

just this one

 a great man Joe

Fitzgibbon was a great goal poacher

You’ll learn much more about a players intercounty potential in a Fitzgibon cup game than you will in a loose high scoring league game.
The only drawback of Fitzgibon is that its played in winter conditions which makes for sometimes scrappy games.

The shark has been jumped, college game a better indicator of inter-county potential than competitive inter-county game

Joe baited the line and sure as shite, one pops out

Joe is correct, Harty cup is bigger and better.

Would it be a better indicator of an intercounty hurler than say, the Forristal?

Could you post up a picture of the two cups side by side so we can verify this.

Yes.

@myboyblue - Shane Dowling, Kevin Downes, Cian Lynch, Ronan Lynch, La Touche Cosgrave and even Tom Morrissey to name a few, all excelled in Harty cup and were all recognised as future county stars before playing Fitz. Cosgrave and Lynch are still in 6th year and will walk onto the Limerick panel before ever lining out in front of 100,000 below in the Mardyke.

The Harty cup is serious business.

God bless ASR

Well Harty will obviously produce more county players as far more lads finish school than go to Fitzgibbon colleges.

Muppets.

Not really. Harty is just for Munster schools while Fitzgibbon is nationwide.

Munster is hurling.
