How many all Ireland's in a row will jp buy?

What about Fermoy, Dan? Should be decent as well?

Very healthy set of accounts produced at the convention last night.

Dear lord, some of the postings on this here thread have not aged well at all…

Limerick to take out the net spend title too? It was the one trophy this year that Wexford had a shot at winning.

Mallow can barely field underage teams with one club, hurling anyway.

They are in lower senior in both grades
Fermoy the same @balbec
I’d say Mallow has at least twice Fermoy population though

Yeah. It’s a shambles of a club. But over the years how many young fellas drifted away because they couldn’t get games.

You put your balls on the block every time you post on this place. Its how it should be.

Large urban areas of Cork with no real tradition or GAA culture .Fermoy, Mitchelstown, Mallow, Kinsale, Carrigaline, Youghal all treading water.

Macroom and Bandon too.

Bandon and Kinsale are Protestant towns and Fermoy and Mitchelstown were garrison towns

Mitchelstown is football country although has underachieved too .

Fermoy lost a premier intermediate final in the hurling recently enough.

The big problem with Cork is that real growth areas like Mallow , Carrigaline and Ballincollig have not been harnessed by the GAA .

The standard of club hurling there over last 15 years has been poor overall

Cobh is another big area that doesn’t have a lot of GAA production. Cobh has a big enough population

Queenstown is a soccer town.

They did but they really should be better . Also it is only in last decade Charleville have punched its weight .

Kingstown

Basically it appears that only small pockets of Cork are any good at GAA

Totally .
