We are competitive at every level at the moment, I’d nearly go so far as to say we’ve the best senior club championship in the country at the moment.

I’ll be slated for that statement obviously, but I actually believe we do, Na Piarsiagh (Savage playing resources, abundance of talent there), Killmallock (in the AI club final just gone), Patrickswell ( are going from strength to strength under Carey, savage young talent there), Doon (have great hurlers 3 guaranteed starters on our 21’s team and Adare since Hegarty took them over are looking strong, that can only be a plus for our inter county setups.

As many a Limerick team before them did, unfortunately they didn’t do themselves justice at all on the big day on our national holiday. Patrickswell beat them recently and no offence to @Balbec but they won’t win the Limerick Senior Championship this year.

I’m serious though, the senior championship is being properly contested now, up to 5 teams have a realistic chance of winning it which was never the case before.
