Is he a good guard dog, the terrier? Would he bark vociferously at passers by? I’m thinking of getting a Jack Russell or terrier to provide noise repellent to potential intruders and of course for pest control.

Any wild mushroom experts out there. Have a lovely looking crop of mushrooms in Dunmore but I’d like to know if they’d kill me if I ate them

Edit. Scratch that. I’m just after seeing Bobby pissing on them.

Is Bobby your nephew ?

Saw a kestrel hovering on the breeze last evening for the first time ever. It was out in East limerick less than a hundred yards from us in the next field over. Very impressive sight as the bird was in the area for a couple of minutes dropping down to ground level a few times and back up as we watched.

Windhover is an appropriate name.

First salmon ofthe year was caught last Tuesday on the Drowes by the fishery manager Bill Likely.

First salmon of the year is always caught on the drowes

You’re some boyo. It was indeed a cold hoor of a winter. My sloe gin was well-needed at times.

How did this conversation with CCHA go? It would be wise to keep watch over your garden on May morning. I’d say he’d be the type of lad that would gather dew off your grass or put eggs in your potato drills.

Sensational

Go on, give us a prediction for the summer

Saw 3 buzzards circling high in the sky today. Fairly impressive sight ( if you’re into that sort of thing)
