Hunting & other rural pursuits

The bastards are everywhere :hushed:

There’s loads of them in Curraghchase. They are making a come back

Think it’s increase in pine martens or some creature of that ilk killing the grey ones as they spend more time on the ground forraging than the native red?

Edit:

Knew I’d read it in some learned crevice of the interwebs

Yea, the red is more doggy wide to the pine martin than the blow-in grey.

Pine Martens are in The RA!

A Pine Martin blinded one of TFKs most famous members you insensitive bastard

Who?

Poor Lohan

Punishment beating gone too far most likely. Was he following cars?

@iron_mike is the Freshford conker festival going ahead this year?

What date is it normally on?

Doubt it. Its normally the October bank holiday

I need an update on the conker situation. I don’t get out much and the nearest Horse Chestnut tree is miles away. Any good trees around Caherdavin?

Are the conkers falling yet? I need to get some for a project I have on.

Give me a few hours.

Would they fall the same time on the Kilkenny, Tipp, Limerick latitude?

Collected loads with the children in Curraghchase at the weekend
