Quaid has to be nailed on.

In championship alone he kept clean sheets in the Munster final, All-Ireland semi final and All-Ireland final. In fact he only conceded 3 goals in five championship games and he wasnā€™t at fault for any of those (one of those 3 was Noel McGrath picking it up straight off the ground)

Puckouts were laser like. Hard to remember a single score conceded this year you could attribute to him. Safe as houses under a high ball and distribution top notch.

He has never won one either. Made a couple of great saves in the final where crucially he didnā€™t parry it out to an incoming forward.

Getting subbed off isnā€™t what it used to be. ā€˜Finishersā€™ & all that ā€¦

If Reid doesnā€™t make it Joe Canning next inline.

Remember this was a lad that was telling us that James Barry > Mike Casey last year

I think SOK might nick it over Quaid just to fill out the Waterford numbers. Heā€™s a fantastic keeper in fairness, incredibly brave. Quaid may well become a victim of the quality of the defence in front of him

:man_shrugging:

Tom and Gearoid are certainties for an All Star.

No, Quaid has it 1. He deserves it 2. Thereā€™s a campaign for him to get it

Quaid is a certainty.

Nailed on. As much as Byrnes and Hayes
