Hurling Championship 2020 - The Year Limerick Blitzed

Does he go looking for contact a bit too much at times too?

Where would the likes of Shefflin, Fennelly and Herity stand in comparison to these? Would they be more in the Cody mould or would they look to innovate like the above?

Too early to say, no?

Henry, sensibly, is a pragmatist, going by club attitude 2018-20.

You’re right it probably is and Fennelly especially doesn’t have the raw materials in Offaly. Herity has Kildare spraying the ball around and their forwards constantly move. However when a teams drags them down in to a battle, they struggle.

Cody will still have an influence so Herity has no chance.

It was Kevin Moran when they were one up

He’s a direct runner alright but lads his size attract contact too.

V Kilkenny in 2004, When the game was in the melting pot we also had a perfectly good Paul Flynn point ruled out by Aodán Mac Suibhne. He blew him for over carrying when it appeared to me he played the ball and had only taken 3 steps.

He got plenty of it off Seamie Flanagan two years ago.

I wouldn’t have put Mac flocking cattle that day and he crippled.

Anyone else think this post might be needed as evidence in a future court case?

It was Kevin Moran, a desperate wide when Waterford had serious momentum, it completely deflated the momentum and was the turning point in that final

That’s Galway-levels of what-if’ing. It would have put Waterford 2 up, but there was still ample time to win the game. The turning point in that final was Austin Gleeson not getting a sniff.
